Mizar

Mizar is the new line of EtherCAT CNC/PLC controllers created with the aim to improve the performance of Tpa control systems by embracing modern technological standards in terms of firmware performance and hardware design.

Every Mizar is an EtherCAT Master, and OPC UA server and are available CANopen, RS232 and RS485 interfaces.
The products are compact and fanless, mountable on a DIN rail and powered by 12 Volt. The realtime cycle is between 1 ms for Mizar.200 and 0.25 Ms for Mizar.600, is possible to manage both machines up to 64 axes and productions lines. The configuration of the machine can be developed using the new Albatros Studio, the new configuration software and code editor designed for Mizar that allows defining the machine logical and physical groups, the program functions to be shared in different machine groups.

Using new Tpa Synoptic is possible to design easy and powerful User Interfaces and thanks its SCADA editor the UI will run on a standard web browser.

Multicore firmware and CPU that allow to run thousands of PLC instractions in 1 realtime cycle and execute micro paths in interpolation without jerking;
double values axis linear corrector (for example Z correction based on X and Y posittion);
possibility to store over 100.000 non volatile variables (assigned as numbers);
Cartesian and lathe kinematics with up to 5 axes;
up to 6 simultaneous interpolation channels;
internal hardware protection in case of power supply unexpected loss;
possibility to manage variables as STRING, BOOLEAN, CHAR, BYTE, INTEGER, DOUBLE, TIMER;
two independent Feed-Rate Override (just Mizar.300 and Mizar.600);
Watchdog for system supervision by a safety PLC;
WiFi (optional).
