General features

WSCM is our main software to manage the machine production cycle and its work plane.

The application, directly interfacing Albatros environment, so the numerical control, offers all the functions to interact with the machine. It directs the operations to create panels, the set-point process, the manual drive of one or more axes, the activation or deactivation of physical devices, and the arrangement of the work plane. One of WSCM’s main features is to have a dashboard that allows us to have a direct access to the machine devices (axes, digital I/Os, flag bits/switches, synoptic panels, cycle, system error and cycle error messages). The manufacturer can customize completely the interface dashboard with a dedicated application (DbConfEdit).

The interface between user and machine consists of several elements:

  • command area, to manage the machine work cycle;

  • notice area, for messages, cycle errors, and system errors;

  • interactive dashboard, to view the axes and manually drive them;

  • interactive dashboard that contains all configured devices;

  • run list, to recall the piece files that the machine will run during the work cycle;

  • command area, to manage the work cycle and the machine work plane;

  • work plane management, interactive as well.

Functional features

When we create a machine working list on WSCM, we can recall either single programs or program lists using the function called “List of lists”.

Interfacing with external programs, like Barcode, it is possible to full automatically compile and launch a list, no need of any additional command from the user. In this case it is actually possible to queue more programs, even when the list is running; this allows us to run workings non-stop, so that the work cycle is not stopped. This feature is convenient for line machines, typically managed by a plant supervisor and/or by managing systems that organize production batches. For each program, the user can define a range of data, editable from the list itself, useful to give the control all the information needed to run the working. The dashboard interactivity gives the user the possibility to interact with the configured machine devices.

A fundamental function of WSCM is the arrangement of the machine work plane. The graphical environment to manage the table is totally interactive. Through it, it is possible to:

  • manage the working optimization sequences;

  • insert and position the pods to lock the panels;

  • position the traverse;

  • directly import the programs, dragging them on the desired plane area;

  • view the graphical preview of the piece and its workings.

  • TCN, DXF, and G-code (ISO) files can be added to the list;

  • fully configurable and interactive machine devices;

  • fully configurable working list columns with recallable piece files;

  • fast commands to start, pause, or end the machine working cycle;

  • interface with external programs to automatically manage the working list;

  • fully configurable work plane and devices;

  • graphical selection of work areas for each program in the list;

  • interactive work plane, drag&drop to move traverse, pods and to import panels to the work area.

WSCM is a tool that is well suited to be used as user interface for any kind of machine. The high level of customization that WSCM can reach guarantees its adaptability to the diverse requirements of manufacturers. The possibility to manage both the technology and the work plane of a machine allows you to use WSCM with work centres or single machines.

General features

Barcode is an application that allows reading labels through an external device and queueing their programs to WSC lists.

Functional features

Labels must comply to the characteristics of the barcode-reading device (Code 39, Code 128, Interleaved 2 of 5, Codabar, QR code, …). The barcode-reading device can be connected to the computer through a serial or USB port. It is possible to limit the significant characters of a label on configuration. If the label corresponds to a TpaEdi32 or TpaCAD program present in its corresponding program directory – as specified in Tpa.ini –, the program is added to the run list.

You can either select the type of run list (WSC, Lister, or Cnc2000) and configure the string format to queue with its parameter fields (“Program”, “Comment”, “Repetitions”, “Mirror”, “Length”, “Height”, “Thickness”, “Load”, “Unload”, “Variables”). You can also insert all labels and their programs in the table or in a text file where each row corresponds to a label with all the program data (“Program”, “Comment”, “Repetitions”, “Mirror”, “Length”, “Height”, “Thickness”, “Load”, “Unload”, “Variables”). The label acquired from the reading device is searched in the table, and the program data are sent to the run list, respecting the order of the parameter fields as they are set.


Barcode optimizes and improves the piece machining by automating the assigning process of the work lists. Barcode blends in with the order management system, optimizing the production time and process and minimizing the margins of error.
